Here is everything you will need to make this apple pie smoothie:
- An apple - Any apple you have will work for this recipe!
- Frozen banana
- Ground cinnamon
- Rolled oats
- Vanilla extract
- Oat milk - You could also use a different plant-based milk
- Maple syrup - This is optional, for added sweetness
- Ice - This is optional, to thicken your smoothie
Tips
Ensure you use frozen bananas to make your smooth thick and creamy.
You do not have to peel your apple for this smoothie. Keep it to get all those nutrients!
Adjustments and substitutions
Use any type of apple you like for this smoothie
If you want to add more sweetness to your smoothie, add the maple syrup. If you find it is already sweet enough, simply omit the maple syrup. The sweetness of the smoothie will also be affected by what type of apple you use.
I like using oat milk for this smoothie, but you can use any type of plant-based milk you like.

Apple Pie Smoothie
This delicious apple smoothie is dairy-free and tastes like apple pie in a glass! It’s super easy to make and you don’t even need to peel your apple.
Ingredients
- 1 apple, core removed
- 1 frozen banana
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons rolled oats
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¾ cups oat milk
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
- Ice to thicken (optional)
Instructions
- Core and chop your apple.
- Add everything except ice to a blender and blend until smooth.
- If you want a thicker smoothie, add a handful of ice and blend again.
Notes
You can leave the peel on your apple.
Add some maple syrup if you want your smoothie to be sweeter. This will depend on personal preference and what type of apple you use.
